Upcoming Events

September 18, 2010 - The 9th Annual Fundraiser had to be postponed from the original March 27 date due to the February 11th 12-inch snow in Fort Worth that caused the roof of the Rahr & Sons Brewery to collapse. Repairs took several months, but are now almost complete. Please mark your calendars with the new date for the 9th Annual Fundraiser at the Rahr & Sons Brewery, located at 701 Galveston Ave., Fort Worth. Phone: 817-810-9266. This will be a truly special evening in a unique and interesting setting. Enjoy brewery tours from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m., followed by a BBQ buffet dinner (brisket, chicken and sausage with other good things to go along) and the award-winning Rahr ales and lagers, entertainment by the widely-acclaimed German Band of North Texas and the always-fun live auction led by Paul Wibbeler of Hoot's Auction Company.  Sponsorships are still available and encouraged.  As of June 21, we have forty-five Sponsors - a new musuem record!

September 25, 2010 - Run from the Ducks!  is an 8-hour ultra marathon, held at Clark Gardens just east of Mineral Wells, benifitting the National Vietnam War Museum.  Sign up now if you are a marathoner.  If not, come out to watch the runners and tour the acres of wonderful gardens, one of the best kept secrets in North Texas.
